[net.mail.headers] Rcf822 extension fields

Are there plans for standard extension sets to the rcf822 standard??

So far, I've seen at least 8 "extension-fields" which have been
quite useful, and none of which include the user-defined extension
prefix of "X-"..  Examples are VSHANK%WEIZMANN.bitnet's 'auto'
field, our own "end-date" field..

 If anyone knows of a extension to rcf822 in the works, speak..

    Header fields starting with "X-" are SPECIFICALLY prohbitited from
    being used in an official capacity--they are USER-extensibility
    fields.

    Please find the mailsystem maintainer on your system who is
    responsible for the date field your message had.  Please threaten
    them with great harm.  Use only 822-conformant dates in your
