[net.mail.headers] X.400 info wanted

joel@gould9.UUCP (Joel West) (12/27/85)

It seems DEC, MCI Mail and others are going X.400 compatible. Where
can I obtain a copy of this specification?

Machine-readable would be prefferable, but a specific order number
and address would also do. Or if someone could just mail me one...

Thanks in advance.

I don't have an electronic copy but they can be obtained from:

Call: Tina Turner @ (703) 281-1135

What you want to ask for:

CCITT Redbooks Vol 8.7 @ $19.00 per copy.

If things don't change, they will probably remain the same.

I believe that the CCITT color books are also available from NTIS.
We ordered a set from Omnicomm because we thought they would be quicker than
NTIS. Unfortunately they still have not arrived, although we ordered about
three months ago.
