I had heard that there was a field for bouncing messages, but that it is
no longer used because other networks do bad things with that address.
Personally, I'd like to see a "Errors-To:" field become a standard on the
internet.  Another possibility would be a field that simply says don't
bounce at all; sort of the mail equivalent of a datagram, i.e. an unreliable
mail message.  Such a field would look like "Don't-Return:", or perhaps an
"Errors-To:" field with a blank address.

BTW, the appropriate place for this discussion is probably header-people@mc.
I've remailed the previous articles in this discussion there, and suggest
that interested persons start reading header-people - they talk about just
this kind of stuff.
