Anyone seriously interested in using a phonetic alphabet which was designed (among other things) to avoid the 'but its just the way it is' syndrome and weird spelling should look into LOGLAN...which reminds me..there was a proposal for net.loglan (or net.lang.loglan, or net.nlang.loglan ...where do you put a spoken language which *fingers crossed* can be compiled?) there seemed to be interest at the time -- did it all dry up or is there a group that we arent getting? laura creighton decvax!utzoo!laura
