Long ago, I heard of a case where a word appeared five times in a row in a sentence. The story goes that a couple of friends, Mr. Smith and Mr. Jones, had just started up a new business. Upon seeing the fleshly painted sign for the "Smith and Jones Ltd." store, Mr. Smith was heard to say: "I think there should be more space between Smith and and and and and Jones!"
