It seems to me that this discussion began with someone from npoiv!npois!bsg asserting that to be intelligent was to be more like a computer, and that intelligent terminal was a usage that verified the claim. I do know what the terminology "intelligent terminal" is interpreted to mean by computing people, Ed, but you can't seriously support that claim that being more like a computer makes you more intelligent?
