For all those that don't know the meaning of the word or misunderstand
the meaning, here is the dictionary's version of *respect*.

v.t. 1. To have deferential regard for; esteem. 2. To treat with propriety or
consideration. 3. To regard as inviolable; avoid intruding upon. 4. To
have relation or reference to; concern. -Syn. see ADMIRE.
n. 1.Regard for and appreciation of worth; honor and esteem: I have great
*respect* for the man. 2. Demeanor or deportment indicating deference;
courteous regard: to have *respect* for one's elders. 3. pl. Expressions of
consideration or esteem; compliments: to pay one's *respects*. 4. Conformity
to duty or obligation; compliance or observance: *respect* for the law.
5. The condition of being honored or respected: to be held in *respect*.
6. A specific aspect or feature; detail: In what *respect* is he wanting?
7. Reference or relation: usually with *to*: with *respect* to profits.
8. *rare* Undue inclination or bias of mind. 9. *Obs* Consideration. -Syn.
