Someone recently posted an article about Creole and double negatives, and used Portuguese as another example. [Was it you, Dave Sherman?] , In Spanish, for example: Juan no hablo con nadie. John did not speak with anyone. To mention a Spanish example after a Portuguese one, of course, is redundant. Both languages (among others) belong to the "Romance Languages", and have the same Latin base. "Then why the hell did I post this article, huh?"
