Can you supply some documentation for your claim about the way
in which thou, you, and youse were used in Elizabethan English?
   Thank you.

I cannot. Reference to the Oxford English Dictionary reveals
this to be an error. "You" was used to a superior and "thou"
was used to an equal or inferior. In some dialects, thou
survives as an intimate pronoun or as one used from parent to
child.

Sorry 'bout that.
