I'm noting an attempt to find the masculine form of "seamstress" in a note.
"Seamster" may also be feminine, just as "brewster" is the feminie form
of "brewer".  The existence of feminine last names like "brewster and baxter"
(cf. baker) has been sited as evidence that women long since were master
professionals, adn not confined to housework.
