/* This line for unpopular consumption */ I just read the original article in June 1960 Sci Am on Loglan. Quite fascinating; someof the claims they make are not tremendously appealing, but the over all idea is laudable. There are only 6 emotional connectives ? (what ? well! how nice! thanks, sorry, ouch!). It's a bit hard to believe that this represents a sufficiently expressive set. All the inflections, accents etc in Loglan are well defined; so the claim is made for the existence of strong congruence between written and spoken loglan, with obvious benefits accruing for computational use, teaching children etc, etc. Please. Can you predict how people will choose to inflect a language ? In any case, I am very interested in learning more about Loglan work that has been done in these past 20 years. Can anyone point me to a bibliography or mail me one ? ui du da faci donsu mi. thank you. I recommend using mail, unless there is popular interest .... P. Devanbu {allegra, ihnp4, ucbvax}!eagle!prem
