Does anybody out there know any books that can teach one Esperanto?  Are they
generally available?  Many thanx in advance.

The book I generally recommend is _Teach Yourself Esperanto_, published
by McKay.  Although its style is a little on the simple side if you
already know another foreign language, it is well-organized and
complete.

The same publisher also puts out an excellent Esperanto/English
dictionary.
