[net.nlang] Need help in Classical Greek or Native American Language

rob@ptsfa.UUCP (Rob Bernardo) (01/29/85)

I could use the assistance of someone who knows Classical Greek vocabulary,
and or a Native American language.

I want to name the mare I just acquired, and thought I could
perhaps create a name that means "trustworthy on the trail."

If you can translate "trustworthy on the trail" into a Native American
language, I would very much like to get your help.

If someone could tell me the Classical Greek even just the word roots
for "trustworthy" and for "trail", I know enough about the formation
of Greek compounds to create a well-formed compound word from them,
but if you could come up with the compound (in the feminine gender)
that would be of greater help.
