[net.nlang] Is Esperanto a "natural language"?

I'm not sure whether that smiley applies to the whole posting or just the
last sentence, so I'll answer it as if it's a serious question.

The term "natural language" as used in the name of this newsgroup refers to
the sort of language that people talk to each other in, as opposed to
computer languages (see net.lang).  By that criterion, at least, Esperanto
certainly is a natural language.
