I prefer not to do steep turns are low speeds near the ground. The high wing because it is at the outside of the radius is moving at a higher speed then the low wing. Particular with gliders with long wings, I would be conerned about flipping the wings over. Irv McNair AT&T Bell Labs Whippany

When the plane is in a steep bank in a sharp turn, wouldn't the speed of the outside tip be closer to the speed of the inside tip than when the bank isn't so steep?
