[net.aviation] Information on portable scanners wanted

My husband is interested in a portable scanner that has both aviation
and railroad bands, in addition to the usual stuff, I guess.  Does 
anyone on the net have or know of a portable scanner that fits the
bill?  It seems like there are scanners with one or the other, but not both.
It must be portable, and he's not interested in crystals.  Any information
on brands, prices, places to buy (even mail order) would be appreciated.
Places in the northern/central NJ area would be even better.
