[net.aviation] flying club activities

zsd@utcsrgv.UUCP (Jim Diamond) (01/24/85)

I'm a member of a flying club that was formed a bit more than two years
ago. In that time, we have been reasonably active as a club, organizing
local fly-outs, weekend trips, the occasional ATC, SAR or FSS tour, and
educational seminars. However, sometimes it seems as if we have
been to all of the nearby points of interest and had seminars about
everything. What things of interest (to the club as a whole) are done
by your clubs? Can you suggest things that were really popular?
Does anyone know of any really interesting things within a reasonable
radius of Toronto? (We've been to Dayton once or twice, and to
Washinton, but perhaps there are other points of interest within
similar distances that we don't know about.)

Please mail replies directly to me. (As usual, if there is any
interest, I'll summarize and post to the net.)

Thanks.
