[net.aviation] Flying into ATL

bluejay@samuri.DEC (02/28/85)

In the next few weeks, I expect to have good & reasonable cause to fly
into Atlanta (Hartsfield) International in a Mooney 201.

My questions to world are:

	1. Is there a best time of the day to get in and out of ATL?
My schedule is flexible (though I prefer daylight hours),
and expect to make a quick turn around.

	2. Who is/are the FBO(s) providing General Aviation service?

	3. Does anybody have any advise/wisdom/$0.02 to contribute on
this subject? I'm current on radio/ATC procedures etc...
and know all about the transponder requirements and such.
I'm planning to do this under IFR. I'm also planning to
take along another pilot for an extra pair of eyes (or
	   hands, or whatever).

Thanks in advance for your responses.
