Regarding looking at primes in different bases, when I was in highschool I observed an interesting fact about the last three digits of prime numbers squared when printed in base 2. At the time I thought I had stumbled upon something profoundly significant. Many years later I found an extremely simple proof showing why the observation is true. I leave it to your experimentation to find the observation.
