dgb@mgwess.UUCP (Donald Beahm) (06/07/85)

The following is from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association con-
cerning Chicago's Chanel 11 WTTW-TV.

A.M. Weather, the award-winning aviation weather television
program, is seen nationwide over 250 public television stations daily,
but no longer Chicago.

The program lasts 15 minutes each weekday morning and brings
to the pilot the most accurate and up-to-date aviation weather information
available. Regional and national data are given with 12- and 24-hour
forecasting, winds aloft severe storm areas, weather shapers and overall
weather conditions.

The AOPA Air Safety Foundation is proud to be the founding and
a continuing sponsor of this program. In the interest of greater aviation
safety, this program, produced at the Maryland Center for Public Broadcasting,
is available free to all Public Broadcasting Stations nationwide including
WTTW Channel 11/Chicago.

What can you do to bring A.M. WEATHER back to Chicago public
television? Contact the General Manager by mail and let him know that you
want A.M. WEATHER back on the air. Write:

 			William McCarter
			President and General Manager
			Chicago Educational Television Association
			5400 North St. Louis Avenue
			Chicago, Il. 60625

The show has been widely acclaimed by not only pilots but farmers,
teachers, travelers--anyone who has a need for accurate, up-to-date and
interesting weather information.

Please contact William McCarter and let's bring televised aviation
weather back to the pilots in Chicago.

	Thank you for your cooperation.
