() I went to look at a Pietenpol biplane conversion in Aurora, Oregon, and saw an overgrown BD-5 resting in the back of the Pietenpol's hanger. I've been told that it is the one and only BD-7 built. It is a 4 place of small to moderate cabin size. The wings weren't mounted, and I never saw them. It is engineless, and the panel is mostly stripped. A friend of mine said that it had only flown once, and inferred that it wasn't a "happy" flight. Can anyone relate any *true* stories about this airplane's history?
