Semi-trivia question: The Volkswagen Beetle has just about reached the end of the line, with over 20 million constructed in various places and varieties. Henry Ford build just over 15 million Model T's and a surprising number are still on the road. The question: what American aircraft was built in the greatest numbers, counting all models and varieties, and how many are still flying? This includes military and civilian aircraft.
