[net.aviation] helicopter info wanted

When I was a kid (back in the '60's) there used to be adds for
helicopter kits in such magazines as Popular Science etc.

I am now interested in getting a helicopter as cheaply as possible.
A 1-2 seater is all I need, as I will be using it to commute on 
clear-weather days.  

Are there any kits or production units that I can get for <$20K?
