[net.aviation] Old Jane's books

wanttaja@ssc-vax.UUCP (Ronald J Wanttaja) (10/27/85)

A while back someone was looking for old issues of Janes all the World
Aircraft for purchase. I don't know if he got any leads, but I found a
place in our area which has about 10 copies, including a 1945-46 issue.
Write/call:

Comstock's Bindery and Bookshop
257 E. Main St.
Auburn, WA 98002

(206) 939-8770

Prices run in the $40 range. This place has a lot of aviation books, both
hard cover and paperback, including some collectables like Cub owner's
manuals and whatnot. The place is just down the street from Wagner's Hobby
Hut, one of the best-equipped model shops in south King county (for us
locals).

"Tower, it takes two minutes to do a 360 (heh, heh)"
"Roger, Zero-Nine Tango, do a 180 and back in..."
