Recent troubles happened for several reasons: A mailer program at Berkeley apparently sent messages once every N minutes (about stray signals - how appropriate). Also, I edited the local mailing list to include an archive. The mailer appended the archive to the mailing list, came across a pukka MC address, and a loop was born. (No complaint from mmailbox.) Different causes, same effect. People who STILL want off are requested to repeat that message. Sorry about the delay. I'll retransmit by hand messages that arrived while mailers weren't in a condition to forward them. Oded Feingold
