In the last TAC BULLETIN, persons wanting more information about booking flights were invited to call Dr. Thomas L. Charlton in Waco. Dr. Charlton was swamped with calls. He asked that we give the Concorde contact person's name and number as: Columbus World Wide Travel, London, EC2, England call toll-free (between 3 a.m. and 12 p.m. CST: 1-800-543-4313). The Concorde's two local flights from Waco to the Gulf of Mexico for 95 passengers each will cost $850 per passenger. All seats are first class. [ I had posted Dr. Charlton's number here a few weeks ago. ---Werner ] =============================================================================== LATEST INFO ON TEXAS AIR EXPO, JUNE 11-15 Texas Air Expo, the Sesquicentennial airshow scheduled June 11-15 at the TSTI airport, Waco, will be the largest aerial demonstration and static display of aircraft equipment ever staged in the Southwest. Here's the latest on what to expect: * Flights on the supersonic Concorde (consult your travel agent) * Displays by the Fighting Air Command of World War I aircraft. * Demonstrations by the Confederate Air Force of World War II aircraft. * Spectacular aerobics by Chuck Stockdale in his "Chipmunk," including an inverted ribbon cutting performance. * Precision aerobatics by Max Shauck in the alcohol-powered "Pitts." * A wing walking and clown act high in the sky. * Demonstrations of modern military and civilian aircraft and related equipment. The Texas Air Expo will be staged by the Aeronautical Council of Texas and the Confederate Air Force of Texas, as an official part of the Swsquicentennial celebration of 150 years of Texas independence. -------
