in regards to the recent discussion about Russian "outdated" technology used in air&space, I found a recent article I read in the local paper this weekend most interesting. it reported that NASA expects to be able to learn more about the last moments of the shuttle than if newer memory technology had been used. I meant to clip the article and post it verbatum, but ..... maybe someone else could type it in? It was front-page news everywhere, I suspect, so many of you probably have read it also. -------
