first, to clear up any misunderstanding, the modems I am talking about are Anderson Jacobson's own modems. They give you a one-year warranty (as opposed to the 90 day warranty GE gives you on Canadian Racal-Vadic modems), and are not selling RV rejects or anything of that sort. If you decide to get one ***soon*** you can get in on a low-price bulk order I have become connected with *through me*. (ie mail utzoo!laura). The prices are even lower than the ones I quoted yesterday, and there are more than one flavour of modem available: the AJ 1234 a modem that can be either accoustically coupled or plugged into a phone jack, uses the 3400 (ie Racal Vadic type) 1200 baud only --- and costs $1114 <total price pre-paid> the AJ 1235 a modem that plugs into a phone jack, uses 3400 1200 baud, and Bell 103 (ie Bell full duplex) 300 baud -- and costs $1217 <total price pre-paid> the AJ 1259 (the one I was talking about yesterday) - does everything the AJ 1235 does, plus Bell 212a 1200 baud - *new price* $1264 <again, total price pre-paid> interested parties are advised to contact me (utzoo!laura) by mail.
