We'd like to ask people using "spell", the spelling checker, to mail us any words they would like to see added to the dictionary. The current dictionary is particularly weak on zoological terms, and has some other bad spots. We're also interested in words spelled wrong that the checker didn't catch. The spell program does keep a "history" file of all the words it found spelled wrong, and we are working on updating the dictionary from this, but the history file is huge and it's going to take a while. You'll get faster results on your problem words if you send them in to us. Please send your suggestions by electronic (*not* paper) mail to me, login name "henry".
