Unix will be shut down for maintenance for perhaps an hour tomorrow morning (Tuesday the 20th), starting circa 0830. Sorry for short notice, the maintenance folks didn't give us much warning.

Unix will be shut down for maintenance for a while on Tuesday morning next week (the 26th). As usual, the shutdown is expected to be about one hour starting at about 0900.

Unix will probably be shut down for about an hour starting about 0900 on Tuesday, March 1. This is for regular preventive maintenance on the disk drive. This shutdown was originally scheduled for last Tuesday but the maintenance folks fouled up and didn't show; we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling.
