We have four concept gvt terminals, which have Tektronix
compatible graphics. The terminals have a printer port and
a Print Graphics Memory command, about which the manufacturer
states:
"Only Anadex Silent Scribe printers, model
numbers 9001, 9501, and 9620 are currently
supported."
So my questions are: does anyone have any experience with
these printers? Are they worth the money? In particular,
we anticipate usage by First Year students, so reliability
is of paramount concern. Are they sufficiently
different from other printers that the quoted statement above
may well be true?
