It now seems that the Sanders printer will be out of action for about two
weeks more. An initial repair attempt was unsuccessful, so we are sending
it back to the manufacturer for a thorough overhaul. In the meantime,
those of you with printing requirements without access to your own
printer have a few options: we have a new printer in room 336 that is
suitable for letters and shorter documents and the printer in room 401
can be used for longer documents.
If you want to use the printer in room 401, please ask Rossana Soo for
permission and instructions if you have never used it before (this printer
should be used before 4:00 pm unless arrangements have been made to use
it after hours). If you want to use the printer in room 336, please ask
one of the systems staff (Henry, David or Heather) for instructions.
We will be supplying ribbons for both these printers for free during
this "emergency".
If you have any questions about these arrangements, just ask.
