If you don't use RJE (remote job entry to the UTCS IBM mainframe computer), you can ignore this message. A new version of the RJE system has been installed with a few small changes. None of the changes require any action on your part. The `rje' command now takes a `-j' option which allows you to specify a jobname. This may be useful if you submit several jobs at the same time. The jobname will be mentioned in the `Subject:' line of the mail you get back. By default, the jobname is just the name of the first file of input to `rje'. Rje now gives slightly better error messages if it encounters lines longer than 80 characters in its input. -- David Trueman @ U of Toronto Zoology {allegra,ihnp4,linus,decvax}!utzoo!david
