[general] service interruption

It looks like the service interruption mentioned in the last message
will indeed be next week.  (Tuesday morning, probably no more than
an hour, probably starting about 0900.)

Sorry for the unscheduled service interruption at 1400 today.  We had
a major hiccup on the AC power in 336, and Unix crashed.
