Phyllis has left Computer Systems; we wish her good fortune in her future endeavors. Her "phyllis" account will stay, as a courtesy account, but she's no longer officially connected with us. David Trueman is now on staff as Assistant Hack. In honor of the occasion, he's changed his "dwt" login name to "david". He'll be based in 336A.

As some of you already know, our part-time helper Keith has left us for a full-time job elsewhere. We are hiring Karen Whillans-Browning as his replacement; she officially starts next Monday. She'll be working about the same hours Keith did, doing about the same things: helping users and giving us a hand with the chores. We wish Keith the best of luck in his new job as assistant administrator of the UNIX system at the Law Society of Upper Canada. He can still be reached by UNIX mail as "keith" here, although his first few weeks on the job may keep him too busy to read his mail very often!
