In this last year two financial surveys of grad students have been conducted. They haven't been published but we suspect that a fair proportion of students are in financial difficulties. This Tuesday, Feb.10 ,1600hrs in room 504 there is a meeting to talk about funding problems and if necessary form a group to approach Admin. A couple of topics will be; equalising financial opportunities across students , and identifying how much "special" money is available for students or their profs, and how we apply for it.
