Modified uucico to increase its patience with a sluggish site. To be specific, I increased PKTIME from 10 to 30. This seems to have broken the logjam at decvax and we are getting news again. Equivalent-looking fixes, like jacking up GETRIES and NTIMEOUT, don't work for some reason. Perhaps all the "are you there" packets confuse the other end. Thanks to watmath!dmmartindale, who first thought of this approach. I've also cranked up our decvax polling frequency until we clear the backlog.
