During some work on the backup software, an interesting possibility presented itself. If a somewhat longer Friday backup were acceptable, the current weeklies could be done then. This would lengthen the Friday backup by about half an hour. The payoff would be that Sunday backups would happen once a month instead of every week. I'm sure the backup- doers will prefer this; anybody have any other comments? Apart from the longer Friday backup, the only real disadvantage is that it leaves work done Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon un-backed-up a day longer.
