After some revisions to the power distribution in the machine room, again neglecting the 220V circuits and the ones running outside the machine room, the list of which breaker powers what looks like this: no. location powers --- -------- ------ 1 under floor tty40, Sanders 3 under floor Camac crate, RJE 05 5 East wall Versatec, card reader 11 South wall E 44 expander box 13 South wall W 05#1, 05#2, floppies, Star Ring, misc. 15 West wall #1 2 Gandalfs, 2 Bell modems 17 West wall #2 1 Gandalf, 3 fast modems, clock 19 West wall #3 console terminal 21 West wall #4 44 cpu box, magtape There is now a longish cable running from the #21 outlets (behind the tape cabinet) to a little power box under the floor behind the main racks. The general rearrangement has also pretty much eliminated stretched-tight power cables, and with three more corners chopped off tiles we will have a complete floor at long last.
