The "send" command has been temporarily modified to run the actual transmission in the foreground rather than the background. This is because of a quirk in the new news system: the first time you send an article, it will ask you for your full name, so that it can put it in the header of the article. It will remember it thereafter (in a file ".name" in your home directory), but it does want it the first time. I hope to fix things up shortly so that it picks this up from /etc/users automatically, but it hasn't happened yet.
