Did a minor chore that's been on the request list for some time:
shortened the multi-line message that readnews(1) puts out when its
colon end-of-message prompt sees a command other than a newline.
People working at 300 baud found a full paragraph of discussion a
trifle on the lengthy side for a response to a common typing error.
