We are rather short of space on /usr. I have given us a bit of breathing
room by moving some things (notably /usr/dict/spellhist and the big files
from /usr/spool/uucppublic) into /work on root. A big batch of expired
news is scheduled to go out to tape in the next day or two; with luck
this will end the problem.
