After many trials and tribulations, we have made reasonable progress
in rearranging our rack space to accommodate the 34 and the Eagles.
The old 44 expander box is now stashed in the back pedestal of the
console desk (for lack of a better place to put it), and the papertape
reader has been removed from the system temporarily. (In fact, unless
we move the racks themselves around, the papertape reader will probably
come back onto the system only temporarily and on specific request.
There's no empty rack space within under-the-floor reach of its cable.)
This leaves the lower half of the 44 rack free for the Eagles.
The rearrangement of the 05 rack is almost complete, although we need
some new holes drilled in the rack slides of Zodiac1's floppies and
perhaps some longer cables for the 20mA-rs232 converters. We have not
yet hooked things back up, nor have we moved the 34 yet.
