And finally, icheck(1) has been fixed to get the total-free-blocks count
in the superblock right.  This completes the changes to maintain and use
the total counts in the superblock.

Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due dept.:  the code for all these changes
originally came from Ron Gomes.
