Ms(1) now checks in the home directory for a file called `.lettersig'. If one exists, it arranges that the contents of that file are printed in a letter when the `.SG' instruction is used. The file need not contain any `ms' instructions at all, appropriate display instructions are added automatically. Use of `.SG' leaves things in no-fill mode, suitable for `cc', `encl.' and the like at the left margin. My `.lettersig' file contains: Yours Sincerely, .SP 1i David W. Trueman Some proper documentation will follow. -- David Trueman @ U of Toronto Zoology {allegra,ihnp4,linus,decvax}!utzoo!david
