We're now running with three megabytes of memory, up from two-less-a-bit
before. The Gomes/Collyer kernel mods to make the kernel cope properly
with >2MB of memory seem to work properly.
Stay tuned for the installation of a "core disk" driver using some of that
memory, to try to speed up pipes and some kinds of temporary files.
