[hacknews] new ps

henry@utzoo.UUCP (Henry Spencer) (05/31/85)

Ps(1) has been massively worked over. It now starts up much more quickly,
takes multiple terminals in -t, does many things better internally, and
has a more flexible option structure. There is one minor price paid: it
now uses getopt, which means that "ps ax" isn't accepted -- it has to be
written "ps -ax".
