In response to some user interest, notabs(1) has acquired a -e option
to set tab stops every n columns.  It has also been redone internally
to conform to more modern error-reporting practices.

Fixed a bug in notabs(1):  it was stripping backspaces rather than handling
them correctly.  An obscure consequence of this was that the laser printer
seemed to be misbehaving when hpwide(1) was applied to a file containing
backspaces.
