On our v7 (2.8 BSD) GLIB/Makefile gronked when trying to include <sys/stat.h> in the above file. There needs to a be an include <sys/types.h> above it.

You'll have to forgive my inexperience with V7, we're using a V6 PWB kernel with an overlay of pseudo V7 so things like included headers that require other headers be included first are sure to require local attention. The other problems you mention lead me to believe that you're only creating emp1 & emp2. The 11/70 version now requires emp3 also (check empmod.c to see which commands are in emp3 -- sounds like all the ones you're missing). Take note, other split I&D pdp11 sites... Peter (esquire!psl)
