Oh, wow! Do you mean that J.S. Bach wrote music? I thought he was famous for being the father of P.D.Q. Bach... Did P.D.Q. follow in his fathers footsteps? :-> -- -- Diogenes looked in and laughed-- From the dungeons of the wombat Chuqui the Plaid Note the new address: {fortune,menlo70}!nsc!chuqui ~And as I lived my role I swore I'd sell my soul for one love who would stand by me and give me back the gift of laughter~ - Winslow Leech

If I recall correctly, Bach wrote the 48 Preludes and Fugues to show that equal temperament was the way to go. There were no pianos for most of Bach's time until rather late in his life. He also hated the pianos of his time, although he did approve of some of the later ones. JueyChong Ong {seismo, allegra, rlgvax}!umcp-cs!eneevax!ong ong@eneevax.ARPA

Just think - if Bach knew about pianos made after his time, maybe he's still around and has actually heard some Kate Bush!! :-) Sorry, Jeff Winslow
